World Sight Day Thursday 13 October is a very important day globally. Throughout the world the message that sight matters will be promoting the importance of eye health and avoidable sight loss. With 80% of all visual impairment being preventable globally and around 50% in Britain it’s a very important message and one worth taking notice of.
In Sandwell, SVI will be marking this important day by holding a range of activities with information and resources about eye health at the Sandwell Arts Community Shop, Queen’s Square Sandwell Centre in West Bromwich. The shop is in the mall leading to the multi-story car park and we would love to see you there.
